The Auction Inquisitor newsletter is a verified opt-in only newsletter. This means once an email address is submitted, the user must also click a confirmation link to both confirm their intent and to verify the email address is working. Only users who submit their email address and click the confirmation link in the email will receive the newsletter. You should use anti-virus software to protect your address book too. Trojan and virus programs sent in emails as attachments frequently target the user's email address book and email history to steal valid email addresses which are then illegally sold to spammers. Using an anti-virus program, along with not clicking links in any email message and not opening attachments, will prevent your private email address from being stolen by criminals.
